April 15, 2025: Prepped a small batch of my expired Stewart EkoPoxy for a small test run, and it seemed to mix and spray just fine. So, I went ahead and acid-etched (Stewart Systems) all the parts, then wiped with acetone, and sprayed all of them with EkoPoxy. Came out OK. I also bought some Rustoleum glossy white high-temp engine paint, since I was thinking about painting all of the baffles white. I sprayed this paint on a small test part, shown in the 2nd photo. I think the “smoke gray” primer looks just as good as the glossy white, but I’m not sure which will hold up best in the hot engine compartment, and continue to look OK with dirt and grease. Probably the engine paint? So, no decision yet on whether to spray it all white.
